Unlink Account?

So, for those of us who didn't come to the forums and dig around prior to actually trying out the beta upon download, we now know that we should not link accounts to the beta.

Okay, so you go to Link Account in "settings," and it says that to unlink an account, go to the web address they provide.

Problem: There's nothing at the link provided that even remotely says how to unlink or gives you any option to do so. It only provides a place to put in a code to link in the first place.

So, how do we actually unlink, and what effect will that have on our Arkfall code bonuses if we are unable to unlink prior to the actual retail release?

(Seems like this should be something in the beta startup materials, frankly, rather than something one has to find out by chance by dropping by the forums...)

I have read in multiple threads that the things you unlock for the ArkFall Codes do not get added to the beta.

This I understand, but that makes no difference in terms of how to unlink an account. Whether you expected the bonuses or not in the beta, the beta starts up with having folks link accounts. The only way to know not to is to have visited the forums prior to firing it up. Hence the concern.

Is there a way to tell if you are linked then? I went through the process in its entirety when prompted to do so.

Linking your account is not going to hurt anything... If anything you completed a step you will not have to do when the final game is released.

But know, linking your account now in Beta will not yield any perks from your EGO Ark Code Hunting.

Thanks for the quick reply. I wasn't concerned about unlocks during the beta so much as not missing out on them later if there was an issue. I appreciate the heads-up.

I've done this with the xbox version but my orignal tron account has disapeared and I can't link it to my new one, it seems my email address has been deleten from their system. I assume I don't have the beta
