    Should I "assume" you were cheating and got caught, then posted on the forums about it?
    Maybe you shouldn't assume anything. Just accept what the OP says as truth, or don't post.

    Anyway, to OP, if you got banned for something you didn't do, I think Trion will rectify it, and maybe give you some boosts as an apology if you're lucky. For now, all you can do is wait, and yes, sometimes people get banned accidentally. **** happens.

    I should clarify a bit. The logitech gear that has programs that allow you to define your keys or set up macros. I'm not hip to all the logitech stuff, so idk if your mouse applies.

    @OP

    Post a screen of the email you received from Trion. The one that notified you of your "ban"

As a result of these actions your account has been suspended for 72 hours and you will not be able to access the game during this time.

    This is your first and final warning for these actions. We skruggin hate cheaters here at Trion and insist that you knock this shtako out immediately. Any future violation of this policy will result in the immediate and permanent closure of this account.

    If you wish to dispute this action, you may do so by emailing appeals@trionworlds.com. Please be sure to include this ticket's reference number, xxxxxx-xxxxxx.

    Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and, as always, for playing Defiance.

    There's an old adage:

    Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.

    Open a support ticket and appeal the suspension. Though you may end up getting a response after it's already up.
    This. Live chat won't have more info than the ticket, fyi. An appeal ticket could have you solved, one way or the other, prior to 72hrs.

    Yeah, got hit by it. Ended up uninstall and never looking back.

    Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

    I received an auto-reply that they will have an answer to my "support ticket" within 24 hours.
