Before the patch all I ever I got was useless crap from lockboxes. After the patch..... I got more useless crap.

Seriously, the best thing I've ever gotten from a lockbox was a purple Respark shield and a lvl 3 Mod, I think it was an extended mag. I've bought quite a few of them as well. Usually I get a bunch of green infectors or some detonators I don't want lol.

Yeah I've opened a fair amount of lockboxes and I feel like I get infectors 75% of the time or more. Then it's sniper rifles which I don't use. I don't think I've kept a single item out of maybe 15-20 of a mix of Tier 2, 3 and 4

Don't waste the resources buying tier 4. Just get 3's and lower. You get crap no matter what but at least you don't spend nearly all of your codes on 4(one 4) items when you could spend all of them on 6(two 3's).

i either get shields, rocket launchers, and grenades. All of which have been garbage.

Yeah i have prob gotten around 12 oranges at ego lvl 2000, but seemed like i got better items from 3's before the patch and now the 4's are better, prob just the same chance anyways, but 6 is better than 4 i guess

Honestly I have lot more luck with better stuff I want and use going with the t-3. T-4 seems to give me 4 green just about every time.

It seems that T3 are the best to use now. T4 just are not worth the Keycodes.

You can get great items from any type of lockbox. It's just not going to serve you oranges and purples like double cheeseburgers off the dollar menu. It's called a RNG (random number generator). The only way your going to increase your chances of finding a orange is to just keep buying lockboxes. Random means random. Every item has a percentage chance to drop. The greatest items might have a 000.1% percent chance to drop, and a trash white might have a 25% chance to drop. If you continue to grind you will eventually find great items, for some people to may take longer than others. Someone might find a orange in their first ever T3, another person might not find one orange for 2 months. It's all relative.
