I always have backstories for my characters. I love creating backgrounds for them... It's one of my favorite things about pen-and-paper rpgs and it just naturally carries over to computer games for me.

Same idk if your old enough to but i remember a great offshoot of the dnd pen and paper called dungeon raiders. Was the first rp i played that had a game board and actual figureine to represent my charecter with it.

LoL i dont have the game itself anymore but her it is 27 years later and i still have my elf archer figureine lol

LOL. I actually got into pen and paper later than most. I was in my late 20s (about 10 years ago now) when I started seriously playing. My husband has been doing PnP roleplaying since he was very young and I've been interested in it since I first saw Elliot's brother playing DnD in E.T., but never knew anyone else who'd play with me. When I met and moved in with my now-husband, I was pulled into their gaming group and have been having a ball with it ever since.

Hell yeah i do the same as well. I do it all the time for characters i create in an MMO world. In fact, I've been meaning to create a thread based on my character's backstory.
