Is it possible to complete Motherlode?

I've done this 3 times now, and every time the end boss has become invulnerable after losing a small amount of its health bar.

Am I wasting my time?

My group and I tried last night twice - same problem as you had. One guy in my group said he tried several times during the week and usually got stuck at that last boss not taking damage, but he did actually complete it once. Not sure what was different that one time, but it sure seems bugged to me, and I'm not wasting time on it anymore until (if) it ever gets fixed.

It stopped that for me. BUT beating him in under 5 minutes is bugged I think as well. After 4 hours trying I finally times one and it was 4:32. ARG

Its messed up on me several times last night and once today but after 2 tries today it worked.

Me and my friends managed to beat him in 5 minutes last night, but I do know that it has tendencies to bug out.

This glitch seems to occur when his two initial power nodes (on his knees) are destroyed too quickly, back-to-back. At least, that's been my experience. Try having everyone focus on a specific leg, then when he stands back up, destroy the remaining power node after giving him some time to stand and complete the animation.

I don't know for sure what causes the glitch, but that worked for me.

This is a PLAYER CAUSED BUG!....yep... you be derpin!

This is a bug caused by certain types of weapons with AOE SPLASH DMG.

If a player in your group is using Cluster Grenades / Rocket Launchers / Shotguns (With Grenade Launcher)
You can cause a bug that will make it so his shoulder pads in phase 2 can not be attacked.

The boss goes like this... Kneepad / Kneepad / Shoulders (4 nodes) / Berserk

The bug seems to pop up the most when you transition into Shoulder Node Phase, so that means the second kneepad seems to be the origin of the issue at times.

IF YOU ENCOUNTER THIS ISSUE!.... wipe... yep wipe it up and waste your self rez. Everybody will phase outside and you can restart the boss fight without the bug active. Change up your weapons so you have direct fire attacks rather then splash dmg attacks for the start. Burn down both kneepads and get the shoulder phase, from there on you can splash dmg your heart out.

YES IT WORKS... I have finished this instance over 20 times, have all the achievements as well. Trust me and do this if your group encounters this and you will beat this boss.
