    Jumping, or bunny hopping is in every game that has pvp and the ability to jump. It's simply a reality that you can't get rid of.

    You said, "Even snipers should not be able to one-shot a player." - If a sniper shoots you in the head with his first shot, you should die. quite simply.

    you said, "If there are choices for players to use, and most the players choose one particular choice over the others, then that choice needs fixing." - are you suggesting that every popular feature that players choose needs to be nerfed? That's nuts!

    And as far as the hacking goes, yes, indeed, it needs to be addressed, not only in PVP but also everywhere else. I have seen people one shooting the major arkfall bosses, and the coop mission bosses. I don't see how they think that is fun, and it must not be, but it certainly is not fun for the guy that is trying to be legit and have fun as the game intended.

    no idea what is wrong with you not able to enjoy a simple game, I enjoy pvp, if you dont, dont play.

    I do very well with x2 LMGs. I don't always come out on top, but I have hit first place a few times.
    If we, and everything we see around us came from stars, then how come we have ice?

    I love PVP in games, in every other game it is where I was almost all the time. But I have not even ventured into PVP yet here. It is my first shooter (except for Doom) and I'm building my character's skills (& my own) in PVE, and giving the game time to fix some issues. The bunny hopping would drive me crazy in no time. Couldn't jumping (& rolling) be given a resource bar(a bar that depletes as you use it)? Then jumping would be a skill instead of idiotic.

    PVP mechanic is good, weapons and perks have clear advantages and disadvantages. The only problem is hackers.

    The right perks make it near impossible to be one-shot. Constantly irregular jumping makes it hard to nail you with sniper headshots or cloak shotguns.

    The current maps encourage the current meta-game of shotgun cloak. If they release bigger maps with choke points, the meta game will change. Capture and hold maps may be better using higher ranged percision equipment or area bombardment equipment.

    Cloak Shotgun is the assassin build which means it is good against single unsuspecting opponent. Once he blows his backstab attack, he is vulnerable. Pubs have not evolved to using group tactics. Most of them just run like a headless chicken and get picked off one by one.

    I have seen people cry about nerfing X and Y, but they don't have the foresight to understand exactly why X and Y is strong in the current meta game and thus when the meta game changes, X and Y which was originally balanced becomes under powered. If you know the history of Demon Hunters in Diablo 3, in Patch 1.0.0 and the current 1.0.7, you will know what it means.

    Hmm so people moan and cry when they get killed by something they don't "approve of dying by"..Hmm time to equip my shot gun and cloak with extra damage from the back then. Go on, cry moar. You know what they say, L2play and deal with it because all you people crying about dying that way is just be laughed at tremendously.

    Cloak shotgunners are some of my worst opponents, and even still I think PvP is currently decently balanced.

    Every so often I'll get one shot; but that is becauase I'm missing a perk or two to remove that. I've still run matches where I've ended up 9-1-10 on a 25 map, then 0-4-2 the next with the same skill set.

    A little over a week ago, almost no one was running Immunizers. It was basically detonators and snipers as far as you could see. So alot of use swapped to anti-snipe, with a proximity weapon as back up. It's not because Immunizers are OP (though some orange versions might be), but because it beat what was OP at the time.

    Even now, I have no issues avoiding a 1 v 1 against someone else useing Infector types. I know how they work, and how to avoid dieing to them. They are actually the least of my worries, compared to shotguns and LMGs in most death matched I fight. And that is with average defense perks on my build as well.

    As posted in another thread, each team death match has some areas that benefit one weapon over another. Some idiots think Infectors shoot through walls, which is utter crap. You can have a red homing lock, but without actual LOS it will miss every time you shoot. And an Immunizer has pretty bad damage against even decent builds; its main function is to flush out snipers, or force others into more favorable territory. I've often just gone the other way when getting shot, waited for the infection to wear off, and gone back to killing with no issue. Immunizers are most often idiot-killers; nothing more, nothing less.

    To fight a cloak shotgun, here is my build :
    - guided rocket launcher (you kill him from far while he shoots another guy). Why that weapon ? Because it's one of the most ridiculous weapons, and killing someone with it is original.
    - if he comes, you spawn your car, ride it, forget the guy and go on another point.

    Works 100%. Oh, and avoid all places with elements, and use your BMG as "noob detector" (360 degrees on you sometimes to detect them). And fully defensive perk you, notably the -30% behind damages.

    And yes, PvP sucks, mostly PvP little maps instances which design is so terrible than 90% of build are cloaked noobs. There is a lot more fun with SWs, even if there are huge flaws (biggest is you can't see farer than 90m at medium graphisms, second is huge damages of shotguns/infectors, third is imba damage of SAW, fourth the total drop of recoil of Overcharge with SAW making it a sniper, fifth is the whole Cloak power and perk which instantly re-cloak you,... The list is long).

    Cloaked shotgunners cannot aim worth a damn and spray everywhere... Some cloak shotgun guy comes up behind me and shoots me once or twice to take my shields down which leads to the escape artist perk taking effect then it's just strafe left and right at blur speed with blur on top of that with a real shotgun thats a 2 shot kill. FRC heavy scattergun > Grind fragger. Best i've gone is 15 and 1 in multiplayer and 51 and 9 with 11 caps in shadow war. PvP is dominated by shotguns and cloak though >.<
