Did they nerf Nim?

OK I just killed Nim yeah took me better part of the day. I died a lot but each death helped me learn more about the fight. I watched the videos of the fight but nothing really get you ready like doing it over and over. If you quit and log out you WILL have to start from the very start of the encounter!! I'm old and slow never really liked the fast pace of shooters. But with the show and game i had to get into this one. I DID IT!! That's the reason I was wondering if it was nerfed. I hope not and hope I really did it myself same as others. To funny 57 year old shaking hands in the air like a 8 year old.

Congratz on beating Nim, as far as I know he hasn't been nerf. That was all you, so give yourself a pat on the back.

I just beat him today. Going by this forum I though I was honestly going to be throwing my controller I disgust and frustration, instead I beat him the 2nd try. I think the main issue with him isn't his difficulty but the fact that you have to almost cheese the game to beat him rather than employing strategy.
That was definitely a fight that showed Trion was yet another dev that doesn't know the difference between cheap and challenging.

Nope. Still as easy as it he was when I beat him in Alpha. Not an after-thought but the game punishes you after spending the whole game running and gunning. The same issue people had with Jackleg Joe.

Congrats! This old fart (53) took days and days to get through it. I'm close to doing it again with toon #2. Lets hope the 1st time around wasn't pure luck

What part of this encounter did you find cheap and cheesy? I thoroughly enjoyed the encounter with Nim, and I didn't think any of it required you to use cheap tricks at all.

I agree. One of the better boss fights I've seen in quite a while. The difficulty is pretty much spot on as it should be if you ask me.

the plain fact is they nerfd nim the second week the game came cause to many little kids went crying to mommy cause the fight wasn't smash face on keyboard and done when now all you have to do is get a bmg weapon and hes dead in minutes

Plain fact?? Been here since alpha started. Can you point to the patch where they nerfed him, and precisely how did they change the fight? I may miss certain fine details at times, but he seemed the same to me from alpha/beta to live and just days ago.
