I just beat Nim today as well and comparing to the threads of him being too hard, I just don't see it. It wasn't super easy I did die once but I self-revived and was fine from then on out. I got the feeling they nerfed him or I was just lucky.

It seems to be the sort of fight that convinces you it's harder than it really is. Play through the storyline again and you might have the skill built up to beat him without even getting downed.

Yeah, I probably could beat him without being downed. I was downed because I tried using a burst fire rifle. Changing to my shotgun changed everything. The way some people have been talking they make him seem as if he is impossible. A little observational skills and timing does you good.

And just to add, it is slightly off topic, when he does his charging attack thing people were suggesting you roll. I noticed that simply running in a big circle helped more than rolling.

Only first time is hard to kill it. Assuming you never did it before.
As any AI he's got patterns.
Once you learn them is as easier as any npc in this game.
Last time I killed it, for the 3rd time since release, I was running after him No BMG, just a shotgun.

Step 1: Just a VBI 0-2 Courier with roll. Like 5 min.
Step 2: Since he ( as they, the clones ) are always spawning North, just using an TAC AR to kill the clones, a piro nade to get him. Hiding behind a pillar, killing the clones, those you can see, from behind the pillar will do the trick.
Step 3. Same thing, the pillar. Just make sure to hide behind it, and be like 3m radius to avoid the aoe.

So overall, a 10-15 min job.

I finished Nim last night. Died 4 times only and I found the second phase of that fight really boring.
Don't understand why people have such problems with defeating him?

I'm 48 and play various types of games, MMO FPS etc and beat Nim 1st go on one character and 2nd go on another (vot fragger only, also used cloak)
My cousin plays and is also 48 but had the worst time ever trying to kill this guy. So funny hearing him shouting over the mic F*** F*** F***
Two days of trying he gave up and got his 13 year old son to do it for him. I'm still taking the P**s now

Don't you just love people who make things up, spread misinformation, and generally talk out of their arses? Just like this guy!

There was no nerf to Nim. At no point was there a patch note or client release that specifically affected Nim in any way. Player guns were nerfed, such as LMGs, so if anything, the fight got slightly harder depending on what weapons you were using.

So please, for the sake of the OP and your other community members, S-T-F-U and stop spewing BS about something you know nothing about.

Another trick, ignore the clones. Pop a round at each one till you hear the crit, that's the real Nim, hit him hard, and him and all his clones disappear.

I stayed near the middle, and fired my shotty at the group running towards me, the clone I critted I "run & Gun" down. Rinse repeat. I did this with a unmodded Green Vot Auto fragger, and a purp Rhino Reloader Shield and cloak as my special. Works a lot faster.

Not saying they did or didn't nerf him but asking for patch notes as proof is not fair - they make changes all the time with zero notes about what happened.
