I've also run this game on a HD6870 (rest of the setup the same), and had no issue there (with that it was 13.1 WHQL, 13.2 Beta and 13.3 Beta drivers).

I'm willing to bet that the new AMD user didn't install the CAP's. It's a common mistake as a lot of people seem to think they're for CrossFireX only.

Much better bang for your buck usually. At the time I got my 7950 the Nvidia model I could have purchased for the same price would have been a 560, no comparison, especially at the clocks I run the 7950 at. Also ATI gives you tons of free games.

I will however concede that ATI drivers aren't in the same ballpark.

Now as for op, either something is wrong with your ****, or you are trolling. Using a 7950 3 displays eyefinity, everything maxed, it isn't even making the GPU think, framerates well past 100.

Price per performance, and AMD wins nearly every time. Geforce Titan comes out at $1000, and it gets beat in benchmarks by 2x 7950s Boost which cost about $600 together.

In my experience I find I've been able to jump into games much more smoothly with AMD.
Often on my nvidia setup, just to get a game to run (cleanly without crashes) I have to go through the punishment of uninstalling my previous nvidia drivers (Reg keys and all, The clean install checkbox doesn't work for me, and if I don't do it I end up with two installs :/) then install the latest beta drivers, is kinda a crappy thing to have to do. This of course doesn't mean nvidia is bad, just more specialised.
Regardless, I've run this game on three different AMD cards on both AMD and Intel CPU setups, and haven't had any GPU issues (of course a 3 year old AMD quad core isn't gonna beat an ivy bridge i5 but meh) and overall the game runs great. Currently running a 6950 2 GB with shaders unlocked (so essentially a 6970) and have a constant 60.

That's strange because I have found that Nvidia makes my life easier. I originally tried to use a pair of ATI boards in Crossfire and I gave up and went back to Nvidia. They just seem to have cleaner drivers and setup is more streamlined when dealing with SLI.

I personally never had an issue with either company's drivers. So for me it just comes down to price per performance, and AMD wins that.

I remember when Intel was the worst chip to buy for games if people stopped buying intel on that alone they'd not be top right now, AMD may become better again, and as far as their GPU's it doesn't matter both are good at these games since I have yet to see a game that truly pushes you to upgrade your computer for a very long time.
