Anyone else finding time try gates not picking up you going through them

been catching up on my persuits and iv found the timetry gates dont pick up when i go though them am or doing somthing wrong or is this a bug

I think it's a bug. I've had it happen to me once or twice (through all of them). I just restarted the run and was fine. Sure, it'd such at the last gate on the last lap when you're pushing for gold, but I didn't have to hard a trouble with it.

I've had this happen before and in my experience it seems to be related to lag (server lag or just a bad connection from your ISP) Now I understand everything that happens I game is not always the fault of lag but when the gates on time trials are responding correctly at the exact same time my email is taking 5 mins to load (a process that usually takes 5 seconds) I'm pretty sure there is a correlation lol

that seems like a poor desgin choice beuase i lose 5-10 seconds at the start of each run making it impossable to get anything other than broze >.<

edit i found a way round the problem, just drive good enough to get a gold and then you just end up with the silver :

Yep I agree with it being a lag issue. If I'm having these issues relogging usually helps, not always, but it is worth giving it a shot rather than repeatedly running through time trials and getting very irritated. If relogging doesn't work, just try it again later. It's not always super laggy.
