    I already posted this response on a different thread but it applies to this one as well so.......Yeah, am I the only one who thinks it's f'ing ******ed that when you max an individual weapon (which doesn't take long at all!), it also stops you from further increasing your skill level with that weapon type entirely? Who in the blue hell thought that sounded like a good idea? It completely defeats the purpose of trying to acquire and modify the rarer more powerful versions of the weapon, when you just have to turn around and sell the damn thing an hour or two later! Unless of course your skill with that weapon type is already maxed!
    I know it sounds minor or petty, but this is one of the only thing that's making me seriously reconsider how much time I want to invest in this game. Maybe it's just me but I don't want an mmo that does everything possible to de-emphasize equipment.

    ^ Don't mistake this for the white bar under your weapon on the HUD. That white bar is your to-next-level progress for the particular Weapon Skill of the weapon you currently have in your hand.

    Another confusing point about leveling weapons in major arkfalls is that some of the end bosses DO reward normal xp and DO reward weapon xp (Hellbug Matron, Scrapper Progenitor).

    It's just the vast majority of major arkfall trash mobs that do not give individual EGO Unit xp or weapon xp.

    Yes, I only found two endless spawn spots in this game as of yet and both might not be intended.
    Arkfalls can be used to get a limitless supply of mobs for 30 minutes which is why they simply give no experience ... no bad design or anything involved.

    From what I've noticed, only the Hellbugs and Robot enemies in Arkfalls do not give weapon-xp/skill-ups with the exception of the Hellbug Matron (not 100% sure about Matron). I've always gained weapon-xp off Raiders, Mutants and 99ers in Arkfalls.

    Hellbugs don't seem to give weapon-xp unless they are part of a mission, emergency or co-op. I've killed hundreds of Hellbugs that spawn near Bug-n-Chug (away from the road) without any weapon-xp gain.

    im having issues with rocket launchers the one that detonate in the air like the hydra it wont gain any exp been using that every where well not the hydra and after a week i look at it has a whole 12 xp any1 have same issue?

    I'm getting the popups for individual weapons when they cap, and for the associated weapon skill (360).

    If you get an orange, don't sell it just because it's capped; that'd be very foolish (so far there is no use for scrip that outweighs the benefit of oranges). I still use my capped oranges for PVP, almost exclusively (well oranges in general, not just capped).

    Ah, now I see why higher level weapons have more experience points... It makes them better for weapon type skill levelling longevity. I seriously feel like such a doofus for not knowing this, lol.
