You will need to wait to receive the email to download the client. Should not take long, since pretty much all of them have been sent already.

log into trions website, click apply code tab, add the code, then click manage games. Hopefully a Defiance beta is listed there and you can download it there. at least that's how i stumbled into figuring it out.

I think you should wait for them to send you an email telling you to download the beta client.

If you don't receive it after around 5 hours, or so, I would just recommend to submit a ticket about it. I've found the customer service to be surprisingly prompt and friendly for an mmo release.
