bought my brother a new copy of defiance... 60 bucks!

    well spent.
we had a blast tonight and I hope trion worlds continues to support this game. I wont lie though... me, my brother and the guy in my clan (bug zapper) all had to hard reset due to a freeze or two.
hopefully the stability will be better after the next patch. either way... he had a good time and his first impressions were similar to everyone else I know that picked this game up. defiance is fun... and maybe a tad bit underrated. but not by too much. it still has it's problems and we could use some new mission structures peppered around the map. new ark battles and a few more enemies couldn't hurt.

I'm glad to see there are others that enjoy the game despite its "hiccups."

    As did I haha.

Glad to see more people enjoying the game even with it's release faults (deadline faults).

I'm still loving it even after I've finished the story and have done the co-ops to death.

    So true!
I've had more laughs playing this game than all the COD's combined!
    And haven't rage-quit a single time!

Well done on the gift! Glad to see that despite a few hiccups that a good time was still had.
I'm guessing (hoping?) that some number of the angry mob will have stood to their promises and left the game to more rational minds who have a longer-ranged viewpoint for new games.

I am excited for this afternoon's patch and am hopeful that it does in fact resolve some larger issues. My experience with big MMO games (albeit PC games) suggests that we're probably 3-5 patches away from a very smooth and mostly bug-free game, but that it will very much be worth it.
