I've had issues with this also. Guns reloading more than once.
Can you go add any info (equipped guns and shields) into the linked thread?
We're trying to get this bug fixed.
Mine usually reloads once more than usual, which is a big disaster because I use mostly LMG's.... Slow reload time.

I did not know that was a bug, lol I just thought I was doing something wrong..
I gotta new issue, for some reason north point mine will not finish for me... did it 3 times with a group, killed the dood that looked like he had a flamethrower every time and no else to kill. I cant find anywhere online that talks about the issue. I am gonna try again... wish me pure aggravation, server problems and lots lag

Use the preparedness perk. Nullifies slow reload of LMG's.

this bug is even more infuriating to sawed-off shotgun users like myself as it literally halves our damage output.
