Well, Mouse jockeys' have a TeakSpeak3 server up and running with an unlimited room size. They have a channel just for Defiance. You can join the channel at: ts.mousejocks.com (there is no password)

I am in the USA and play on the PC EU server...due to my 11pm-4am PST play hours.

When I am at any arkfalls which have more than 5 players, I can "eavesdrop" on conversations in the Voice Chat system. They are usually speaking German,French, or some Russian/Polish/Estonia/??? language. I can talk and hear my voice echo back in the conversation. I never hear a reply so I don't know if anyone ever hears me.

Yeah, the voice chat is still badly borked.

How long do you think it will be before we get one of those arbitrary blogs that state our concerns and then ramble on about random crap until they feel like we forgot the real problem, just to end it with "we're doing or best to fix this".

Either that or well get a 3hour patch for it just to have it removed right after we start to enjoy talking to eachother.

PS All you play it how it is or leave people. I blame you for this cookie cutting generation of gaming, complaints and feedback if listened too can enhance the dev teams outlook on a game most people dont want a clone system but are giving examples for the devs to take into account. Let the devs create, let the peopld that havd valid critisism complain, that is unless your enjoying your two cods a year with 15 copy cats.

Chat sucks in game FULL STOP!

Need to work on this alot if you want people and the community to actually work together in situations.

It's a simple yet over looked aspect of the game. at least mate the text you write not disappear after like 2 seconds.

Blame whoever or whatever you want. It's not going to accomplish a thing since this developer has its collective head lodged up its ***. They could have addressed this issue months ago when it was brought up ad nauseum during the closed beta test but they chose to ignore most of the feedback from the testers. A simpleton with half a brain cell would have recognized it as an issue and that it would lead to backlash after the release. Looks like Trion managed to lower its standards for the people they hire even further from the norm.

Could be worse, this company could be ran by Randy Pitchford and be having lawsuits filed against them for making a crappy game.

I'd agree with you if this country's judiciary system had any integrity. Gearbox is going to have to deal with a settlement out court and a tarnished reputation among knowledgeable gamers i.e., not a ****ing thing. Business as usual shall commence.
