Another stupid question guys!

Well I have a few issues so hopfully you guys can shed some light on things for me.

First off, I have read so so many times that you do not get any weapon skill at arkfalls? Well last night during major arkfals I continuously checked my white meter and the amount of xp it was displaying and sometimes I would get xp and other times no. What the heck is going on with that?

Second is outfits. I have seen on other posts when someone describes killing a boss they always list what outfit they have on. REALLY?? Does it matter what outfit you use? Is there stats on the outfits and if so where are they?

And third how many of you actually buy the synergy boxes and try and match them up with there weapons? And does it make a big difference.

And last but certainly not least, How in the heck do I get the BMG leveled to ten, FAST!!! Its damn annoying. I don't the infector, now the BMG has to be done then the dang sawed off!!! GRIND GRIND AND GRIND

1) Use a different weapon, after you've used the weapon fully. You don't get any weapon exp for that category, so either find the same weapon, or switch it up.

For leveling weapons you either grind hulkers or grind skitterlings. I haven't compared the two but I believe BMG would be faster with skitterlings given that its shots hit multiple targets.

I'd use the skitterling spot Era mentioned for the BMG if you have a friend to also get co-op kills, otherwise I'd just farm the Hulker. You'll get 180 per tick on the Hulker, which is almost like 4 link with the skitterlings and no chasing is required which is sometimes necessary with the skitterlings.

To farm up Sawed off shotguns, also use the skitterling spot, just use a courier, you'll level it in no time. Granted you can't buy couriers from regular vendor stock, buy all sale versions and keep all drops and you'll get it in no time. I passively maxed sawed off shotguns using these technique. Make sure you slot all of the damage boosting perks you can, so you maximize DPS there by cutting down on leveling time. You can permanently have overcharge up while using the skitterling spot if you use the extended duration on kill perks.

Op, outfits never matter. The synergy is actually not bad. I managed to outrig a brutal shotty with all brutal attachments. And I would say there is a noticeable difference

I'll roll 50-70 damage per tick per skitterling w/o overcharge, but I'm not doing the math on this one since there are just way too many variables between Hulker giving chase, skitterlings fleeing, overcharging being up or not, skitterlings dying off but having multiple links up, etc.

1. Major Arkfall with the BIG red ring doesn't give you any weapon EXP. Some times there are Minor Arkfall with out the BIG red ring. Those give you weapon exp(The red crystal you hit doesn't give you exp, only living things that attack you back does). At times these Minor Arkfall are inside the Major Arkfalls. You will see on the map a Boss from the major arkfall is up, when there is a minor arkfall inside of it.

3. synergy. Just think of set bonus. Thats around it.

Don't forget that there are 2 different types of synergy perks as well. The gun mod types that are listed [1] [2] [3] [4] and the loadout type, where you need two guns with the same perk to gain the effect, that just have [1].

ok so good post btw. 1: stay away from arkfalls, side missions/exploits an when the white bar is full switch to another.2:lol3:I did at first, but when I bought one an didnt get any mods at all I stopped buying (an it should make a dif if you look at the bonuses it gives you)4:do co op missions, hulkers, bugs, bots etc, but its not gonna be fast. just got the infector I have maxed doing that, an shotties, well thats out of my league I stick with the combat/blur combo. but its a mmo so grind grind grind is the way.
