Again, Dark Matter and 99ers not having women is completely expected.

Casthithan society is what was joked in Raiders: Women DON'T fight. It's a man's job. Their place is in the kitchen.

As of 99ers. They are former miners, that got mad and start to replace body parts with cybernetics. Again... How many female miners you saw in episode 2? Not even Irisa was allowed in the search party. There are no female 99ers.

No clue about E-Rep, but canon says EMC was formed by combining all the worlds armies into a single earth defense force. Several countries with elite units have women in the military (Israel? Switzerland?) so I would expect EMC elites to have at least SOME women.

Who's to say that the EMC allowed women to serve in the first place?

Very well thought out response, thank you. This is the most likely answer. Just think of the way Cass walks, as opposed to Cooper. Consdering they had a deadline that HAD to meet, Trion probably removed a lot of features that were in the original design to make it on-time.

Well, even if there were female enemies, they'd still be only making 77 cents on the dollar that male enemies make.

As for Raiders, maybe there is a Raider Queen sitting atop a big.... thing and calling all the shots.

Like Tina Turner in that Mad Max movie.

The EMC was a combined military force. Israel and Switzerland have women in combat roles, so not too much to assume that EMC would have women in combat roles.

    Current evidence says otherwise.

Another theory is that they are Fallout franchise kind of Mutants; all sexual characteristics become male and as a result of mutation.

Except the actual *****, which in the original game(s) actually fell off if you had one prior to mutating.

Or of course women were simply not affected by the mutating effects and the first victims of their former male comrades.
