As of 99ers. They are former miners, that got mad and start to replace body parts with cybernetics. Again... How many female miners you saw in episode 2? Not even Irisa was allowed in the search party. There are no female 99ers.

While 99ers may have started out with a primarily male workforce, the ingame lore suggests that they continue to replenish their numbers by kidnapping from the general population and converting them into a 99er. Dynamic events commonly show women to be among the captives. That said, it's since the "templet" they are working off of is most likely leftover from when they were a male workforce, any converted females would probably end up looking like "one of the guys".

It's true you don't see many dwarf women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for dwarf men. It's the beards. And this in turn has given rise to the belief that there are no dwarf women, and that dwarves just spring out of holes in the ground!
