Always just jump in if I see action and I'm not mid mission. I'd like others to do the same.

I don't get why people don't want party up. Why play a mmo if you want to be left alone?

In my opinion, I think that if people didn't want to work together for these things, they wouldn't still be playing this game! Joining up with strangers to complete these missions is probably the best thing Defiance has going for it at the moment. A better chat system would make it better, but I don't think many people would object to some help now and then.

Of course, there are exceptions (like if you're trying to level your weapon skills or grind out a pursuit), but most of the time I think people are happy for the company.

I try to jump in and help out on bigger missions. Since I do "expect" it when I do missions as well, I enjoy the help.
Currently I am outside the Big Smeltery waiting to do the Meltdown side quest. I helped another person out with it earlier and saw how difficult it was doing solo and not dying constantly (I am a casual gamer not a hardcore one).
So once the server goes up I'll be waiting for an additional person to join in.

I always jump in and help and love when others jump in and assist me. It's even better when the random person and I end up grouping up afterwards.

The only time it bothers me is when they use their runners and never get out.

Same here - I help when I can. I specially help when I see someone over loaded with mobs which sometimes happens when an encounter scales from more than 1 person in the encounter and then leave. At least I believe that is how it happens.

I hear having strangers join you in a group thing is big in Europe and personally I'm a fan of it here in the states. I'm always happy when others show up and we can gang bang a Matron or other biggin'.

I don't care if people want me to join in or not. Personally I love it when people join in (at which point I will stop messing about with snipers and such and go all out with my AR).
