Sounds to me like someone got caught...

This makes far more sense than the OP does.

I have Raptr, FRAPS, EVGA Precision, Steam (usually off), a Logitech G15, a Logitech G13, Razer Mamba, my antivirus, and several others running. They've all been there throughout the Alpha, into the Beta, and now release. Not once have I heard from Trion claiming I'm doing something I shouldn't.

I also played Rift from Alpha to at least a year after release, using the same programs. I never had an issue there either.

I'm more inclined to think either someone got caught, or they're using something else that's been flagging, such as SweetFX, etc...

If they didn't tell you what 3rd party program you were running that caused it, then how can you name them?
I have that Nvidia Experience thing also a Razor keyboard thing and probably a half dozen other .. things ... running while playing Defiance.
Been playing since release and still playing.

Doesn't surprise me. I recently got an email from NcSoft telling me my account for Lineage 2 had been issued a permanent ban for using a bot. Funny thing is, I hadn't played Lineage 2 or had it on my computer for two years and then played only about five days. I protested anyway on principle and about two days later received another email stating my account was open again and all was fine. No apology.

But that's a problem for users isn't it!?...

If Trion's system is indeed making false positives, and they won't tell you which program you have supposedly been running.. how the hell are you supposed to fix it? Once your suspension runs out, you'll relog and get re-flagged again... rinse/repeat until perma banned.

And just because many of us are running particular programs, and haven't been stung yet.. doesn't mean it can't and won't happen sometime down the line, it might be a particular set of circumstances that is triggering the problem.. who knows.

One thing I have seen mentioned on a quite a few of these posts, is that Logitech software is getting mentioned quite a lot... which is pretty disconcerting, considering I run a G13, G19 and G700.

If people are getting bans for "third party software" then perhaps TRION should post a list of acceptable applications.
This may prove difficult but if Logitech or whatever is a common factor then they could at least list Vendor peripheral software that is all good.
If some sort of list was provided it may ease some peoples concerns and also if a ban was enforced we could go to the checklist and compare so we would have more information to support a request for reversal.

if you use any logitech products such as g10 series or the g600 mouse, its wise to let trion know. they went on a ban spree in rift for people using these because of botting and prolly do the same here.

OP is talking nonsense. Played Rift for ages using Razer/Nvidia software etc. and never had a problem.
