The patches were delayed for a reason. But all everyone did was cry like a baby because PC and Xbox got the patches first, even though the patches didn't fix much, so PS3 owners stomped their feet and pouted and cried and shouted neglect. So they rushed out the patches and now you want to complain about the same things the PC and Xbox players have complained about since they got the patches. I swear, people these days.

Yep read all the problems people were having with the new patch and was hoping they would delay it some more but everyone seems to have wanted to jump the gun and get it as soon as possible; Only to turn their heads and start roaring when the ratio of fixes were less than the additional bugs added on. Well at least we have the patch now!

So, the map is the same as pre-patch? No locations listed will be disappointing, was looking forward to that.

Yeah seems its the same way as before. Same thing that happened on the PC/360 patch. All platforms pretty much have the same clone of a patch.

With how many issues they've been having it wouldn't surprise me if they did add it but it broke again.

Lol I put money on it. Thing is I like this game but I think it could be so much better it just needs a few things adding into it and the bugs fixing

I will however give credit when it is due. Thank you for the new pursuits and contracts. They are very refreshing. It's pretty cool to see some colorful hell bugs and some really badass looking monarchs.

This patch is complete and utter BS.

Before anyone gets mad at that statement:

1. Just got 20 runners, reset back to 1, so now it's not the rollers but runners. perfect great job.

2. Got sweet shades instead of hellbug cap, when people complained about that from pc and xbox for weeks, we still got the broken patch with that in it.

3. I can't even see players names anymore, and then they show up sometimes, and then i dunno wtf i don't even wanna go into it.

4. Once again no patch notes where it says "patch notes" i don't care if i can come here, it should be in the game.

5. Still getting stuck in the ground or something when picking up items, that stutter step bug.

6. Still perma turbo animation on vehicles sometimes.

7. The new dodge race is now missing. Removed? Perhaps this was another removal announced via someones Twitter? Another "change" hidden unless you followed everything 100% related to Defiance?

8. The story missions vanish randomly on the map.

9-100. I am sure I could fill all those spaces with problems.

Trion has the time to do all this coding to allow you to move pots and rocks in Rifts housing dimension crap, yet we can't even get some basic problems fixed over here in Defiance. Yet they want to put you on a timer for when you can "complete" certain things in the game?

I honestly came into this game 100% a Trion fanboy if anyone said anything negative I would say look at the great Rift support, and all the shtako they did there.

This must be a joke.

Having us wait weeks upon weeks after the other platforms for a patch and seeing the exact same problems they complained about for weeks upon weeks?

I second what you said.

The reason people complain is because they do not understand the sophistication of programming. If one line results in an error, an entire program can crash. With 10s of millions of lines of code with the combined client and server-sided data, tedious testing must take place to minimize flaws in programming logic and simple typos (such as an unclosed bracket). I am in the Information Technology field and deal with technical and complicated software systems on a daily basis and I can tell you, a lot of planning goes into the most simplest aspect of design.

Although I enjoy playing Defiance, look what has happened at the result of rushing. clearly, the game wasn't finished because some of the same errors (dreaded "patch error") and bugs still plagued the game from beta. Sure, I want the patch to replay story missions, but it will be pointless when the story missions don't work at all because of a simple flaw. When reading lines of code, it is easy to make mistakes. A person can argue that "Trion is a professional company" and they "paid $60" dollars for a video game, but MMORPGs is like an operating system: Overtime, it will get better with development and patches.

Yup I pretty much feel the same. We wait for two weeks to get the exact same faulty patch wtf. All this bs about we know the probs on the Xbox/PC the ps3 will get a better patch??????????????????????????? WTF...
