I didn't get the task "Thinning the Herd" checked under "Unconventional Methods" either after finishing the first episode 3 pursuit.
It's listed as a contract. There's no contract by that name. Along with the other issues with contracts, it's obviously broken and people need to stop getting hung up on the fact that there's a pursuit and a non-existent contract by the same name. In either case, it's broken.

It is clearly meant to be a contract and the Paradise weekly hasn't reset. Ive seen other posts that people are saying its still Most Wanted: Dy'Dekuso at 0 mins. I have completed everything else, killed all the bugs and finished all the emergencies and am still lacking this last bit. Has to be a bug (PUNS) and not just a mistype.
yeh im allmost done ever episode 3 things and panic
when my paradise contract wasnt there. even if i earn the rewards it dosnt fix my paradise an merc contarcts being stuck on last week.
I've certainly killed enough of everything to have had the episode 3 pursuits finished but it is not registering my kills of the electric archers or either of the monarchs for Thinning the Herd.

Sure you're killing electric archers? I thought the same, then I realized they were siphon.
And by the way everyone else. The OP is right. We were suppose to have a contract. It had nothing to do with the pursuit. Why would you think that we'd need a pursuit when everything else in the requirements is a contract, and the requirement even says "contract?"

Yeah i've got the same issue. Well, chalk this up to another pursuit I can't finish because of a bug in the game.
