There are new emergencies with a new type of monarch to kill at the end and various new versions of other minor bugs, and they do also appear at ark falls.

I've killed 15 monarchs at the new emergency and not one of them has been a syphon or electric monarch, all were radioactive or fire.
Wonder if different ones spawn in different places as I have been in mount tam mostly.

A lot of these spawn near Mine 99 in Marin. That's where I farmed them. That's where electric archers spawn as well.

Both ark falls and emergencies ran into a lot of electric monarchs they are definitely there. Electric takes HUD away now, nice touch and dmg numbers.

They are around. Do the collecting for Varus emergency. One or two will pop up. I still need incendiary warriors. Anyone seen those?

I found those near Mount Tam. Mostly near the radio towers/kinship plaza.

Are these new elemental bugs also immune or take less damage from weapons with the same nano effect?

They're not immune, but I don't know if they take less damage or not...

I am confused. Do they occur in emergencies or ark falls, or are ark falls an emergency?

they appear in both, well not sure about major arkfalls but i did see them in minor arkfall.

See how sometimes you find an emergency called kill the monarch well thats where I found the a syphon monarch
