Orange weapons/shields/grenades - where are they at?

I'm ego 13xx and I've gotten one legendary, a crap grenade lobber around ego 600 from a tier 4 lockbox. I've opened lots and lots of tier 2 and 3 boxes and a dozen or so tier 4's, and that's the only one I've gotten so far and as far as grenade lobbers go, I've got several green and blue one's that are better. Trion really needs to do something to make legendary items better.

Only from lockboxes.

Any Teir will do, but most people seem to have the best luck with Teir 3

I got 1 just awhile ago before the servers went down in a Highest Tier Lockbox.

So sad... 500 ego higher than me, I am just using a green and I can not see any difference. Maybe 100 points more damage, and 1 second faster refresh.

edit: Ah the instant detonation. Still kinda weak for something that much higher.

Lol? What about the 2100 Min DMG?... That's the most prominent feature (other than insta-det).

Yah just post for what you're looking for on the need/want section. I got an orange grenade for 20k off someone just so I could finish that part of my EGO Evolution.

I thought this too but weapons at EGO 700+ will come with more innate bonuses attached. I now regularly see Blues with synergy mods on them. I'm guessing at higher EGOs the weapons get more bonuses.
