Why do pows show up as red on my HUD?

Anything you can shoot and damage/kill turns your crosshair red. But, just like in real life, you don't have to kill something just because you can. :P

It's not just on the aiming sight, it's also on the minimap, which can sometimes make completing those event a little troublesome since you have to check all of the random red dots to see if it's a pow or a mutant or other enemy.

Nearby Pows will show up as red on the radar if you happen to damage one of them.

Not all enemies show up on the radar, by the way. There can be several (real) enemies around, but the only show up on the radar under specific circumstances. Has something to do with them actively shooting you or you having shot them.. something. I haven't quite figured it out, but there are plenty of times when I can see enemy mobs firing at my friends and I and they don't show up on my radar until something triggers it.

I think red on the radar basically means you're on the mob's hate list. That would explain the Pow's too, you Pow killer. :P
