really, my xbox is crap and it takes almost a ******* hour to download this crap. why do i have to download it EVERYTIME? id understand if it were a new patch, but holy butt pirates, the game is great, but im not gonna wait an extra hour everytime just to play it

It sounds like you're having some serious issues friend. Try using the support icon on the top the Defiance main page. They should get your issues sorted out because what you're experiencing shouldn't be happening.
Sounds like network problems, if you can average 40mb+ at least it should take little under 40 minutes or so to download anything. The only thing I can think you could do to possibly increase your DL rate is ensure that all other devices connected to the network are turned off and that only your xbox is connected to it until the download is complete. That or practice the long, lost art of patience.
Do you still have the beta installed? Most of the people having that issue was because of the residual beta information conflicting with the game.
