Schtako doesn't mean sh*t. I thought it did too, but i noticed that it got used a couple of times where replacing it twith the word sh*t would have made no sense.

Can't remember what the sentence was though

no Schtako is sh*t in tonights episode they found a pile of Schtako and covered themselves in it to hide their scent

Skruggin, can't remember where I heard it but seemed like F-bomb, Varus also used Jek in the F-bomb context. Ganchi was used in tonights episode for a-word. It's pretty clear shtako is poo.

The show has 2 full languages and some partial languages. We have to assume there's been some mix-and-match like tex-mex spanish and dialects derived from multi-cultural societies, so some words probably are shared.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that subtitled? He said something in his language, but the subtitle showed "shtako coward," or whatever. I think his spoken words were different, meaning they have a word in Castithan vernacular that translates to "shtako."

Or perhaps they opted to use shtako in place of it's english analogue because it's syfy channel and as such has to be a little less m-rated in the language department.

I think Cass was just being self-deprecating, which would fit her personality. In episode 1 of the show it's translated when Irissa pulls a charge-blade on Doc Yuule (I think that's how it's spelled).

So I'm pretty sure that shtako is specifically hellbug dung, and a general Votan term. I do not think that castithans would be using an irathient word so often, and you clearly see Datak screaming "SHTAKO!!! SHTAKO!!!" at one point, and Alak makes frequent use of it as well.

Skragi, I think, is the general irathient word for sh!t.

"Gashika skragizdakedak" is something I put together for one of my characters to use... I'm not positive it's right. It could also be "Gashika skragihadakidak." I just think "zdake" sounds really good and "insulting".

But it's supposed to be "Worthless s*** f***ing f***er." Needless to say, he was not in a good mood.
