will there be anymore episode missions

I assume you mean story missions. I haven't heard anything, but it was my understanding when I purchased the game that these missions were supposed to be added each week. Guess I was wrong.

they were called episode missions in the game the only one i played was they 4 mission arc where you help out nolan and irisa steal the terraspire

Sounds as if you mean the starred missions with cut-scenes etc etc relevant to the show like the pre-show ones??

In which case,,, YES absolutely definitely and categorically... (they mentioned this on last weeks stream)....

Unfortunately some people have gotten the impression this would have been every week (im staying neutral on the reasons for that lol)...

Instead it will only happen a few times during the series (they said they were coming but without exact dates,, maybe on the next episode update in a couple of weeks time??)


To put into context,,, these 'pursuit' related ways of deploying content with various open-world changes are fairly similar to what happened in DCUO... But in DCUO it would be every few months instead of weeks,, and they were also removed after a period of time (examples being st paddys day and winter etc).... so what they are doing is a sped up version of what is,,, really,, an industry standard practice of giving you different goals within the same/ very similar content

So for me its fine,,, and probably more than i expected update-wise from a new MMO with some teething problems. I concede, however, that if you bought the game with the expectance of these starred missions then you're gonna be rather annoyed at the outcome. Possibly this was to do with confusing advertising, or false assumptions made by people all over the forums,,,, but its bound to leave a bitter taste.....

I hope everyone sticks around at least until they drop the first DLC package.... By then we should (hopefully) have had a new starred episode mission,,, and then plenty of new content to get stuck into..... Then you'll have no choice but to get begrudgingly addicted to the game once again

I hate this game for making me like then disappointing me each week and I don't care if they put new episode missions but why take out old episode mission. its like they didn't want new fans for show

Basically I think whats happening here is that while the tv show related stuff is updating as it should be (there'd be riots if it wasnt haha).... the DLC stuff has been majorly delayed by them focusing on the 'unexpected' problems. From the initial chats with devs etc it seemed they had the first DLC planned for early-mid april,, something thats been put on hold until they sort everything out

So perhaps the original intention of the game was not to have this seeming lull in content,, because new stuff would have been added (I assume the main reason people want the episode missions is because they simply want something new).... Its unfortunate but ive got a funny feeling once theyve got a handle on everything thats going on,,, therell be a (good) surprise in store

pfff its one advantage those of us that bought it full price get i guess haha

seriously though,,, this happens because the live-world is constantly changing. There would be no reason for the lanterns to be out after a celebration period for example. Maybe harsh that the actual starred missions are taken out (theyve said these will return in the future-- my moneys on it happening in conjuction with syfy channel when they repeat the series later this year),,, but all the other stuff should be time specific
