lol yeah the first sentence was to you, about the names only appearing if they are talking on mic in area chat. i find it annoying i can't see other peoples name but i do like hearing people in area chat.
the rest was for OP acting like we were left in the dark not knowing what was gonna happen after the patch, plenty of posts on what was going to happen

So it wasn't just me. Was just booted towards the end of a major arkfall about 15 mins ago. Came to the forums to see if the server crashed or this had happened to others.
I had completed 3 minors plus most of the major and also did not get anything. The loss of loot does not bother me as much as the fact I was having fun trying out some new things. I was testing out a new combat medic and weapon approach. I was really excited to see how many people I had revived and how much dmg I had done given that I was healing more. But alas, crash, bam, thank you maam, and I end up staring at the starter screen instead of the arkfall scoreboard.
They didn't blame Sony, They blamed Microsoft for fast tracking the Xbox update. They even came out and said that they wished they would have had more time in a testing environment. Microsoft is just gung ho on trying to be the first ones with the product they know consumers want, cuz they know their console is garbage. Plus it didn't help that Xbox and PC had a ton more problems than PS3.
I have seen 3 people in game tonight with names over their heads. all the rest have disappeared. I was also kicked out of a major arkfall moments before it ended. one another note, during any arkfall event I can see about 25-30 lil dots for other players on the radar but only see one or two other people actually on the screen. I know they are all there because I can see every enemy and they are dying all around me.
Microsoft can't fast track an update that's not given to them. This isn't on them by any stretch of the imagination.
valid complaints are fine. most the time everyone whines like a moron over ridiculous expectations.
Yea like the game works as intended at time of purchase! Or that what's listed in the patch notes is actually in the patch and working. Or that the patch fixes more than it breaks. Or that the developers have made a reasonable attempt to play-test their game. Ridiculous stuff to expect!
