    B. It makes your gun more accurate. Think of the - as a +. It reduces the spread of your bullets.
    3. Headshots.
I hate getting rid of anything syphon, but you made it obvious which weapon to scrap.
    Thanks.

    OOO! Time to shine!

Radiation (Green) - Eats at an enemies armor making them weak to attack (pretty much, if this effect is active on a enemy they will take more damage from attacks, and you will take more damage from attacks.

Biological (Blue) - This is a general Debuff to enemies, it slows, reduces damage output and even slows down reload speeds. These effects apply to both player and enemies.

Syphon - (Purple) - This steals HP from an enemy and heals they user. If your HP is full it will recharge your shield.

Electrical - (Cyan) - Stuns an enemy for a short period of time. This effect can even apply to the player

-.30 Accuracy is a good thing. The lower the number the more accurate the weapon will be. ATM Scopes state that they give +0.30 Aim Accuracy, it does not actually decrease accuracy and it is currently bugged and simply just adds a scope effect when aiming down sights.

that plus/minus thing is still in effect? even after this big patch today? I thought I was alone when I didnt like adding scopes to my guns. felt like they always threw my accuracy off. Do they plan on fixing that or is it gonna stay the way it is?

not sure where you are or what platform you play, but i am NA/360 as far as i know there was no patch that fixed it...I personally like to stay in third person view. but if they do fix it and i see a noticeable difference then i will probably use them.

As far as I know, they know of the problem and it is going to be fixed...when I do not know...

If it has been fixed, then feel free to correct me! For even I wish to know more about this Scope bug!

Scopes GREATLY reduce the accuracy of Sniper Rifles (and by this I mean its a bad thing.) Currently all Sniper Rifles have 0 Accuracy while zoomed in. It's pinpoint. It's perfect. Whatever your dot is aiming at it will hit. Here's where Scopes come in. If you add a Telescopic III Scope (+0.30 Accuracy) your Sniper Rifle is now a hideous mess. You will now miss your targets like crazy. You'll line up a perfect headshot and you'll see your bullet stray off to the left or right. This becomes extremely noticeable at extreme ranges. Where you sit there firing 5-6 shots and miss every single one on a stationary target. Your pinpoint accuracy has been stretched open.

This effect however is negated if your Sniper Rifle comes with a -0.30 Accuracy bonus to the weapon. I currently have no scopes on anything.

Added some specifics and cleared one or two things up ... might've added one effect as well. ; P

Biological (Blue) - This is a general Debuff to enemies, it slows movement speed and halves damage output. These effects apply to both player and enemies.

Syphon - (Purple) - This steals HP from an enemy and heals they user. If your HP is full it will recharge your shield. Can even randomly revive you on occasion since there is a delay between hitting the target and the incoming heal.

Electrical - (Cyan) - Stuns an enemy for a short period of time. This effect will hide the hud & crosshair when applied to players.

Fire - (Red) - Applies a damage over time effect to the target ticking periodically for 57 damage. Players and mobs alike can roll around to put out the flames.
If you apply any nano type to a mob surrounding mobs will effected as well.

this really clears it up. They are 100% glitched atm. So avoid scope until patched!

so like the OP has -.30 on his rifle. That gun probably kicks @$$ right? but then when the developers fix it, his gun is going to suck? There are some weapons that are originally designed to suck in some ways, while being superior in others?
