Either way, this contest is just pure shtako.

Contest like this (where they say they are going to mention a player's name in the show) is going to be pure shtako regardless, because deep down inside you know that they are unlikely to mention someone who have stupid in game names anyways.

For example, names like John99 or hidoctornick (just made up 2 names here) are I think will never going to be mentioned by show.

And those type of names pretty much accounted for 90% of the population and most of the top players in most mmos.

Seriously guys, it is not really a big deal.

Trivial as it may be, it could have been one more thing for people to do while playing. Instead, it's either the only thing you do, or... nothing. I like participating in contests I won't win, just like I enjoy driving up mountains I can't cross. It's still fun to try dammit! I live for the day when doing one of those things won't prevent me from doing the other.

Well Trion have made it clear they would put in your Likeness they haven't mentioned anything about names now Likeness could be anything from in-game char to an actual photo of yourself (heres hoping a 12-16 year old doesn't win it XD)

I agree. I myself always character names after an actual name, not one of those ones lol.

But Just thought I raise that point (another reason why players should avoid douchy names).

It automatically adds it to your account when you click the link, don't know why they did it that way because it's confusing. You will have an entry under your transaction history on your account with law keeper in it.

It's confusing like a metric **** ton of other things in this game
