Message to "Defenders of Defiance"

Now we all know this game has cool details, but really? You guys act like your still REALLY enjoying this game.

Now out of curiosity, I ask why? Is it that you play with your friends? The lack of content has stopped me from playing for quite some time.

I'm not a 'defender of defiance' but I'm still having lots of fun with this game. This is why/how.

1) I play with friends. While we play together we chat and do arkfalls and emergencies. It's good times.
2) When not playing with friends, I play the story and do challenges and such. I haven't even got to San Fran yet, so I still have lots more play time.
3) Typing in text chat and inviting random people into your group is pretty fun. As a result I make more friends, have more laughs, game stays fun. (Anyone on PS3 want a random friend??)

But all in all, I can easily see how the game could get pretty boring. Especially for people with less good friends and/or more time to play video games. So I'm adding a fourth reason why I personally am still enjoying this game:

4) I have a full time job, so I don't burn myself out by playing it constantly. I'm positive that I'd be rather bored if I had more time to play it. But as it sits right now, I'm having a good time. That's all that matters to me.

also, I don't consume content like a fat kid consumes cake.

I'm about the Journey, not the Destination.

so I still have a pretty good amount of things to do, lots of side missions and pursuits, etc. and the "repetitive" things like arkfalls, co-ops missions, pvp, emergencies, etc. are fun enough for me that I don't mind doing them repeatedly. I have a lot of fun just driving around chasing Arkfalls.

hell, I have a lot of fun just driving around. on my Hannibal. off-road.

I still think they got something, if not a complete revolution of online gaming, still something new and fresh. Like all new and different stuff, it'll be chaotic to settle (to say the least ). So I play, slowly, with one hand with fingers crossed which add some challenge

Our enjoyment of the game isn't nearly as much a mystery as to why you'd care. Let alone hanging around the forum of a game you no longer enjoy just to ask.

Speaking only for myself, if I wasn't enjoying something I'd go do nearly anything else. So I suspect there's something about Defiance you're still enjoying, even if its just baiting DoDs.
