I still enjoy the game due to playing it with friends. Sometimes we screw around doing silly things but other times we do Arkfalls. About twenty minutes ago pulled off 3.2 million damage at a Hellbug Major using only a Wolfhound

I enjoy it because I am sick of orcs and wizards. My all time favorite MMO is Star Wars Galaxies, and this game kind of reminds me of the days when I played my non Jedi classes in SWG. I can see me playing this game for a long time to come. Besides, I played Rift for a couple of years and I know Trion will make Defiance a great game eventually.
There's no act. The gameplay is enjoyable, even just simply roaming reminds me of the fun I had in Mercenaries on the xbox. I'm usually a hardcore pvper and raider but I still have fun running through co-op maps and the overly limited PvP Defiance has.
The game needs work but to be honest, no other game delivers this kind of gameplay in an online environment. Personally if I had a PS3 I'd be playing Dust514 more than this.
Plus, this game just fits well with me, not sure why. Just very keen to see where they go with this, have high hopes but little expectation.
I tear the game apart because of its incomplete design, though I enjoy playing it as nothing more than a guilty pleasure. That's absolutely the only way I can defend the game: a guilty pleasure.
I will say, though, the korean grindfest that is 2500+ is not a good solution to the current state of the game. The developers need to reexamine what they want from players that have finished the "tutorial" of the game's storyline, and implement content that acts as a legitimate challenge to those players. Not just bigger numbers.
Not the ******** gold star co-op missions or the laughable difficulty of pretty much everything else currently in the game.
Keep in mind I do not want multi-tier raiding in this game, nor am I some super-hardcore MLG GAMAR. I simply want the developers to finish what they started, especially since the game's prototype is such a solid idea.
