I'm a little surprised that more people haven't complained about this.


I'd like to add that since more of my friends started playing recently this seems much more of an issue, when around other players it happens more, if I wander off on my own and do my own thing the sound settles down.

Also I noticed that the game sound coming through the optical cable for me is the sound stream with the issues, that's the 5.1 channel stream to my headset. When the sound is basically broken on my headset it's still fine on my TV where I have a stereo signal going through my HDMI cable.

Not sure if that information helps but it has gotten to the point now where I can't use my headset to play the game unless none of my friends are online.
