If i take a look at the list and see stuff like...

unique loot tables.
Scaling on Common thru Legendary
EGO-based PvP matchmaking
Co-op loot tables
Better Loot that’s unique to PvP

...then i have to admit that i wasted a lot of money for defiance (dde, sp and bits), because it wouldn´t be anymore the game i bought!
I don´t want to be forced to play specific things (like grinding one specific boss) to get the loot i want.
The actuall keycode+lockbox system is fine as it is because people can do what they want and still have the same chance on the same loot like everyone else.
And EGO bases matchmaking would absolutly kill PvP for most people, because they never would get a match running and many people wouldn´t be able anymore to play together with their friends if there is a big EGO difference. And since the game gets realy grindy above EGO 2000, people who got more time for grinding will never ever be able again to play PvP, because they would be the only one in queue in their EGO Rating range.

More maps (pvp and coop) and more gamemodes and even some worldbosses would be a realy nice addition, but realy don´t do the crap i mentioned, like unique loot tables.

Edit: Realy sad, that i cant post the same comment under that discussion... my post get instantly deleted. i´m realy disappointed from trion because it seems they only want to hear positive answers

I'm glad he's communicating with less metaphor and pop culture references. That said, though, what I saw was yet another post launch list from yet another MMO developer of things that may or may not ever see the light of day. Well, at least he prefaced it that not all of it would ever be implemented. Of course, in that case, why even list those items? Oh, to say that they are watching and listening.

Well, I agree with him: what you do is more important than what you say. So, let's see what you guys do implement. Because, no offense, but those of us who have been around the MMO block have already visited that house before.

It's one thing to jot down frequent forum requests, it's another to implement them. I do think it's awesome you're keeping track and do have a list that large, but prefacing it with the above doesn't make it mean much to me at this point in time.

What is even more sad, is sometime in the future some people are going to say that Trion promised all that stuff, and will say "false advertisement" if some of that stuff never gets implemented.

he is quoting a developer from Trion, that is literally what Trion said, it is a Third Person Shoot first, and MMO second.

.... then you need to do your research before you buy, as almost every dev interview for the last year they've said it's a third person shooter first, and an mmo second. you bought it for the secondary purpose of the game and are upset that the devs are focused on the primary purpose?
