I was literally just telling my wife how awesome Trion was. They just sent me a personalized email apologizing for the Roller level cap glitch and stating that they have fixed the bug and reset me back to level 20 and if I need any other assistance to let them know. Its gonna take them a minute to get everything sorted out, but that just made me feel like they are working around the clock. The millions of emails they probably get about all of these bugs, and they actually take the time to read them all and not only resolve the issue, but respond. And I'm pretty convinced that it wasn't an automated response. Anyone experiencing issues, take a number and get in line and they will eventually get to you. They ARE awesome.

Mission: Confuse Playerbase With Long Arbitrary List accomplished.

I wonder how many people (like the fellow above) just scanned that list and didn't understand what it was.

    More PVE Content:
Group/raid instances requiring 4/8/16 players and a room temperature IQ with legitimate fights and unique loot tables.

Weapon Stats / Scaling on Common thru Legendary:
Tweaks to EGO scaling and weapon rarity scaling

    EGO Rated PvP:
EGO-based PvP matchmaking system, ie 100-199, 200-299, 300-399, etc as well as open-ego PvP option that would have no criteria, would allow EGO/weapon scaling without unbalancing PvP
These 3 item in combination worry me to some small degree.

Let me explain, currently we have a flat-ish scale to weapons; this means that the entire player base can partake in PvP events at any given time and not be at a disadvantage. (lower queue times)

Going to a weapons scaling system that is significant enough make a need to segment out the player base will do what it has done on other games (especially older games) where there is absolutely no queue pops for for new players or alts. With the addition of new races in the future I would like to level an alt or two. There is also the other end I would expect to hear the calls for "ego-locking" twinks for low level pvp if there is enough in the weapon gap to allow gear to over compensate for skill.

Raiding gear (especially "progressive" gear) can be very destructive to the power curve; anyone who played in the WoW battlegrounds pre-resilience knows what i am talking about; the raiders just one-shot everyone with raid gear, sure they had fun but PvPers were SOL. Also worry the idea of how raid gear would affect the "top performers" in arkfalls getting better gear line item, would this mean that non-raiders will SOL in open world PvE?

I won't lie there is a lot of great things to love on this list; But I am a fan of the flat-ish weapon progression we have now it puts more emphasis on gameplay, not gear. Now if raiding was the way to get those unique looking armors and weapons without a population segmenting gear curve then I support this 100%

As much as Id like some of these addittions I would be foolish to overlook the fact that trion has given me no reason to belive they'll be able to add even a third of this before the year is over, hell even that would suprise me, considering they have completely failed at fixing simple stuff like pvp pursuits, the accuracy stat, Dam defense and freightyard in a month, hell they havnt even started fixing them it would appear.

Also once again they show little forethought, the ego rating based pvp they mentioned makes no sense, you already have longish ques, and shadow war ques are ungodly, stretching the playerbase thin will make it so much worse, and quite frankly there is little reason for doing it, the power diffrence based on ego rating is minimal, as per theyr own design.

I liked these blogs at first, but like oveur mentions himself they are nothing but words, And trion has yet to prove that they can come trough with any of the bs they talk about post launch

Dont worry, it can be summed up by saying 'heres a list of things that people might want but we dont actually have any solid plans to implement them. So all in all, here's a list of things that you said ... we're listening!'

It's one thing to jot down frequent forum requests, it's another to implement them. I do think it's awesome you're keeping track and do have a list that large, but prefacing it with the above doesn't make it mean much to me at this point in time.
That statement only means that some players would like to turn Defiance in a totally different kind of game, and that is not good. So they are aware of certain suggestion, but not all are good for the game

As someone else mentioned, I know with the addition of the new hellbugs, some of the other graphics and textures seem to have been polished. In-game seems to be sharper with more clarity.

That's a good list and all, but there's not a single mention of melee weapons. So I'm guessing melee builds will continue to be essentially worthless in this game as you just throw your elbow at the enemies.

And 100-199, 200-299, Etc. EGO Level segregation in pvp? That's cutting the base up way too much. It's just going to lead to longer matchmaking time and people will just go back to the no restriction mode. If they want to add something for new players, they should have a Crysis style "recruit" match system. Where you can play "X" amount of matches when first starting out with other new players before you get put into the overall system.

But still, it's good to know that they have big plans.
