This was my feed back i probably took a different take on things and looked more at what I really wanted in the game that I thought would just add a breath of fresh air and make the social aspect a little easier and more fun for everyone.

The two things that really really really made me think sweeeettt was raid bosses of 4/8 group and search group of 4/8 it would make it easier and more accessible for everyone to be involved in raids and other content in the game alot of people solo but it doesnt mean they dont want in on the group stuff from time to time this to me at least answer this question. "not all of them [long list of features] are going to be implemented"

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize these had to be mutually exclusive.

So they could implement some, or none of that. They're listening, and looking at data..
Actions speak louder than words, and I thought the community was tired of pretty words?

Being able to assemble a list just means they have community managers that know what they are doing. The blog post you quote even warns at the end that you shouldn't take anything from the list they provided. It's just stuff they know at least some of us want and that they might one day decide to implement if enough people chime in to make it known they really, really want it.

It's just talk meant to show that someone listens. It really doesn't say anything about their ability to actually deliver.

Most MMOs I've played have put out similar lists after launch and I don't think even the best of the development studios have managed to deliver even half of their list several years later.

Trion is so far behind on what needed to be delivered with the game that they may base some of their priorities while playing catch up on things that players want and they feel they can provide with a high degree of efficiency, but this is sadly one of those MMOs that will probably never deliver what it should have delivered at launch across it's viable life time.

Some people still find the game fun. Make sure it stays fun, that nothing makes it less fun and, if possible, find ways to make it more fun so some people who have left will come back and some people who decided to "wait and see" will have a reason to consider a purchase, (likely at a seriously discounted price). It never will be what a sci-fi MMO should have been. It won't keep players for the reasons that successful MMOs typically keep and grow an active player base. It's just a sci-fi action shooter that happens to tie in with a television show and happens to support a ton of people playing in a persistent world. The sooner they stop thinking about it succeeding as an MMO and stop thinking that MMO design doctrine provides a path to success, the better off we will all be.

Every game should stress fun as the primary goal, but fun is really about all this game has and even then the pool of people who find it fun is fairly small as a segment of the larger gaming communities in which the game seeks to find success.

I'm glad someone is listening, I really am, but actions mean a lot more than words and a list of things they think we might like and that they might implement if they think we like them enough to actually bother, really isn't anything of actual substance to hang one's hopes on.

Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.

    Words.

Email surveys, in-game surveys, focus tests. - havent seen a single one yet.

    - Better Loot that’s unique to PvP - i dont recall peopel askign for loot unique to PVP. Absolutely against it. Just the PVP nolifers want it who want to be better then others.

    - Private Matches (Clan vs. Clan) - as long as there is NO rewards (to avoid friendly clans farmign in turns).

Group/raid instances requiring 4/8/16 players and a room temperature IQ with legitimate fights and unique loot tables. - as long as its OPEN and doesnt require one to be a active big clan that has strict voice chat requirements.

Implement auction house - NO, it resutls in inflations and nolife farmwers/glitchers floodign the game with rare items and mods making casual player stop farming and just buyign it instead (and scrip selling websites).

Open World PvP - NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER, limiting free areas a pve player can go if hes not part of some uber winning pvp clan is a big no.

Those who perform better should get better loot. - define better, most dps? really?

While not all will necessarily be implemented, I generally approve of all of them. Which is nice.

As long as the loot only accessible via one method (PvP, group content, etc) isn't "better". I like the current limited vertical progression. Kick-*** models would be enough to encourage people, but I don't want to be forced to do it to get the best stats.

    :edit:

re: open PvP I would rather see a PvP phase so it's 100% consensual without limiting which areas anti-PvP players can access.

Man I can't deal with a lot of you doomsayers in this thread. Take something positive (like dev communication stating that a lot of our concerns have been heard). That's good news people. And OFCOURSE the list doesn't mean that all of the items mentioned will be implemented. The Dev expressly said that. He was making a point to let the player base get a glimpse into development decisions to try and prioritize that list, implementing what they can, as it fits with the direction they're taking the game.

Honestly, with the BMG being the only other option to interact with and effect other players directly ... how 8/16 man raids not make everybodies brain scream ZERG! ?

I am quite curious about this as well. Maybe they'll create raids where you have to use the appropriate EGO powers in different areas and can't just shoot at everything? I hope that's the case.
