WE NEEED TO RISE UP AGAINST THESE JERK FACES THAT ARE RIPPING US OFF FOR MAKING A TOTALLY SWEET GAME I CAN SINK MONTHS OF MY LIF3 INTO!!!!!! DCUO FOR EVAARRRRR!!!!"
those are the people i think he's talking about. it's either that or the tuurds that played the game for weeks and are 2000 + ego rating and say it sucks and has no content. i dont know. it all sounds stupid to me. the game isn't perfect... but it also isn't bad. infact it's my favorite game this year. i must like crappy games... idk
People on both sides are ******s. On one hand TRION released a game before it was ready, to match up with the release of the TV show and on the other people with too much time on their hands are running out of actual things to complain about. This is an evolving game but the BETA was the place to hash out the major flaws like disconnection, lag issues, multiplayer elements not working and huge downtimes. Rational people will complain until they feel they've received their monies worth. My suggestion for the future expansions is to think of them as individual products. Each one has to function and integrate with the main game exactly how it is supposed to nearly 100% of the time before the consumer can be charged for it. Just like the main game should have functioned nearly perfectly before its release. I think people who are playing this game now are more participants in an open BETA, and they've invested in the future of this game, not the present version. That's how I make myself feel better atleast. Even unfinished it is an EXCELLENT game.

This game is fun, tons of content, hours upon hours of good clean fun gaming. Most of you didn't even have to move off the couch to buy it. You pushed X a few tines in the playstation store and Eureka! A badass massive 3rd person shooter that you can play online with your buddies is at your fingertips....

I wish some of these spoiled, unappreciative children had an understanding of how hard, time consuming, grueling and how much Heart goes into creating and developing a game. Everyone's a gaming snob, nothing's good enough, always want this or that or more. Enjoy what you have. Gaming has come a long way.

So either stay or leave, but quit B*****n and help The Trion team, not bark and whine at them.
I couldn't agree with you more, most of these people are 90's kids, and some maybe even 2000. If I can run into 10 year old children on CoD, I'm sure they litter this game too. Kids these days expect everything to be handed to them, when they want it. No one to blame but parents. Child wants this new game but isn't 17, parent buys for child, instant problem.

Something I always tell my friend since I can qualify him into this subject: Do you have a game development degree? Can you fix these problems yourself, or even know how hard it can be? No? Then shut the h*ll up.

Trion is hard at work all the time to fix issues that we post, just have to realize that re coding is not something like changing your shirt. It takes time and fixing one issue can just create a brand new one and so forth. Think about launch...... Ok think about what we are playing now....... See the differences? Yes they hear us and are working for us.

With the understanding that we're all taught that it's the "squeaky wheel that gets the grease" and that when we're frustrated have the right to vent with the goal of having it produce some outcome, the truth of it is that "bullhorn whining" really is a juvenile approach. An all-too-common and majority one in forums, but juvenile nonetheless.

The "this crap's broke and I'm quitting" approach piles complainers into a nice easy pile of other whiners that does communicate to devs that some number of player are experiencing some common issue. Sure. For the complainer there is some validation that they aren't the only one that is frustrated, and it can help create a nice hierarchy among the whiners so that the one judged to be the most authoritative can rise to become "king of the whiners" (with all of the rights and privileges that come with the office).

There are other avenues by which you can complain, still be the "squeaky wheel", and actually be a greater part of what might be a speedier solution.
    A) File a bug report through channels. At least then the bugs get registered into a database that I assure you gets priority over forum venting.
    b) if you insist on forum venting, be just a tiny bit more descriptive. "I'm pissed" can probably be assumed. You have a problem? What was it, when did it happen (clock time/time zone), working alone, alone in a crowd, or grouped, location on the map. Can it be replicated easily and in the same place or grouping condition? The more detailed the better. An OP and follow up info from others with similar or comparable issues is [i]helpful[\i], and might just get a tiny bit more action than fireballing the forums with "this sucks they don't care about us" drivel.

I absolutely get that people likely wouldn't complain unless they cared about something and wanted expectations to be met. I also understand that satisfied people almost never provide feedback because, you know, they're satisfied. As well, very experienced gamers (particularly those that have been through more than one high-profile large scale MMO release-and-refine cycle (which can take many many months and a number of patch cycles), know that there is a productive way to play a role in helping devs understand bugs, and as a result produce well-developed and highly attractive gaming experiences for the playing community.

So, pick your approach - They're two flavors of the same thing. ***** and whine, or discuss and submit through channels. The former might feel a bit better in terms of venting and again you'll find a community just like you to pal around with. The latter will place you into the class of players who is helping the devs a bit more intentionally and may help them test problems more directly and produce better patches overall.

    Just my $.02.

Nicely said...we're you a game tester too?

I was born at the end of 80s and even cry has something to do with feedback. If you are so happy with this game maybe you should stay quiet

Enjoy what you have ... good atittude.
The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on.

There's a difference between having a complaint and using facts to back it up; and raging in a 40 line run on sentence with nothing to support what you say.
And saying "fix it or I quit" is completely hilarious. You know you already bought the game right? You (your parents)already paid for the disc smarty.
Also it seems like the people that actually understand the gaming industry are the ones that are supposedly "saying the game is perfect". No, we just understand coinciding launches, we get how stressful it is when you have a publisher demanding that your game is shipping by X date. There's no such thing as a perfect game, deal with it. Name an MMO that had a flawless launch. While we're at it, name a multiplatform MMO, & name one that got 2 patches & new content within a month.

Trion isn't your parents. Crying won't get you what you want so they don't have to deal with you. It just makes you look like a little brat. Thanks OP

Says the kid crying and *****ing at people crying and *****ing.

Oh the irony my friend. From henceforth you will be known as Irony Man 3.

Besides kid, don't you know that most people on game forums are 17-26 year old female gamers who weigh between 90 and 120 pounds and are all bikini models?
