Several episodes in, no ACTUAL new content?

So.... been playing the same hotshots/time trials/Rampages/"rifts"(purposeful) since the series opened....
We were told to be sure to complete the "quests" before the series opened, now that it has... 3 episodes in... except for being able to make some **** go up in the air at certain bases.... we've literally received NO new content? So.... what exactly was the point of completing before the series started? I paid for the regular version AND the season pass..... SEASON PASS, what the hell was the point of it if damn near NOTHING changes? I've been standing by for several weeks now, HOPING for new content.... if I'm somehow missing something can someone fill me in? If there's been literally NOTHING I'm going to petition Trion to refund the money I've spent because this game is absolutely useless
Because at this point... Warframe (a FREE MMO) literally has a TON more to offer than this crap, and to think I've wasted my money on this game.... is ridiculous
If I'm wrong, please someone fill me in, because I'm logged in right now, and still NOTHING new has been added

so.... no new content, NO HAT, no new playable species, no new weapons and vehicles, no new missions, no rewards, no "bonus items" and no Lock Box.....
So far it seems I've not received ANYTHING I've paid for, and after watching for several hours after login today, apparently almost no one else is playing the game either
Trion... get ready for a complaint from my credit card company, ALSO be ready to completely refund me because of your false advertising

it is currently 1:18 am Tuesday April 30th where I am, unless this crap is resolved within 24 hours, I'll be calling Trion and demanding a refund on both the season pass AND the base game since it is OBVIOUS false advertising

You won't get money back, you played game so your money was well spent during the time you played. If you think actually there is no more content you are interested in play, sto playing (hey, you are NOT paying a monthly fee) and come back anytime you want (hey, you are NOT paying a monthly fee) and/or when they release the DLCs.

sure, I played the BASE game(2 hours of grind....), however in regards to the "season pass" I've received NOTHING, so...... let them go ahead and try to dispute my charge
pressing "J" now... let's see what happens
ok, it shows a few new things(same ****, same grind), interesting that this wasn't mentioned in the notes on the launcher(just got done reading the ENTIRETY of it), in other words standard players like me have no idea what the heck to do
seems I should go ahead and contact Amazon to have them refund my money for the season pass scam
Since I ordered the season pass, you'd think I'd at least been given the HAT before the DLC, but...... nothing, I got the key, applied it, and for the season pass received NOTHING

They've got their argument in the wording you gave from Amazon. It says future. It doesn't say exact dates, so you haven't been scammed out of anything. There's no false advertising involved. You can ***** and moan all you want, threaten this, demand that, when everyone knows you won't get a refund.

Or you bought it because you have too much money and few interest in buying the right product for you? In that case, leave Defiance and go buy the next game that you see features on Amazon/Steam knowing nothing of it and then cry more, please!

Phenomenal pretty much dedunked your arguement, they didnt scam you, your season pass will cover 5 DLC, they will release DLC in the near future.

Time to put the game on the shelf with Guildwars 2 until then. Game is asking you to do tons of faction quests however the awards are totally worthless.

Like other players, we have completed all of the storyline and all of the side missions plus the season quests. Bored to death........

Both B2P. Both are not forcing you to play all day long for months and month 24h/day. It's the B2P model that is done this way. Play until you like, stop playing when you have no more fun, come back at anytime you like, try the new content/expansion when it will be released...

The DLC should not come out until a few more weeks. I am not sure how many television episodes season 1 of Defiance will have but guessing 20+ I would expect the first DLC to come out around episode 4-5 (20-25 eps / 5 dlc). However being a new launch it's not surprising that Trion would delay the DLC until they have bugs worked out. I would not expect the dlc to be too delayed since they are trying to keep the show and game somewhat tied together but we'll have to see about this.

You should have received the bonus items (lockbox and hat) in your shop > claims already. I believe I received the lockbox (hard to track with the other bonus lockboxes) but I know the hellbug hat is in game. If you are missing these items in your claims I would contact Trion support to have them look into it. I was missing a title and they gave it to me within a few days of me contacting them. One exception to this is if you have a head item called "Cool Shades" that you did not buy somewhere. The last big patch had a bug that changed some players' hellbug hats into cool shades. I would expect this to be addressed in an upcoming patch. All the other items listed in the description (new race, weapons, etc.) should come out with the DLCs.
