Xbox360 regionlock can we get a update?

Dont want a bunch of fan boys on here telling me the game will lag if they open region lock. I know this, does not mean you have to change to a over seas server. nor do i need fan boys telling me to be patient and wait.
Its been a while since we have had a update on this issue thats the only reason im asking. the game is sick! but the region lock kills it because i know once its lifted i will have to start over again.
Just wanted to know if there is any idea or any update on region lock.

Please dont reply with No ETA, give the community SOMTHING to go on. estimate the time we dont care, aslong as we know it is getting looked into and dealt with.

actually when i play other games with the USA i get little to no lag. so yes when is the region lock berlin wall going to be pulled down?

hopefully never. if they do they should add servers for region locks andd those without that way no one can moan about lag (if any)

the lag i get is mainly in major ark falls when there are tons of players the shadow wars is a bit annoying. come on it's 2013 CoD, battlefield and many other games allow EU, Asia, Australia and the USA to play with each other. why not now? Lag? it's a server in Bad company 2 i see little to no lag and thats with US players.

dude like i said... just because they take of region lock dont mean you have to play in the US servers. you can stick to your regions server like nothings changed. no one is going to make you change server so your point is invalid. your acting like it will become one massive world wide server. NO, all it will do is make it optional to choose your region server instead of it automatically putting you in your local.

Totally agree that it would be great to at least get an update.. there's a sticky for this topic but no one ever updates on it!

why say point is invalid if it still clearly is. region lock still active so deal with it same as other problems they will either unlock it or not when they want demanding an update only makes you look stupid and childish.
