Reminds me of this movie

Reading into the story and the setting of the world, a movie came to mind.

Its called "Monsters" (http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Mo...61637&leid=534)

The name of the movie is beyond dumb for what the movie is really about, but if you want a movie to watch while you wait, I recommend this one.

I remember that movie. Can't say that Defiance really reminds me of it other than a big creature came from space and set up shop on Earth. Wasn't a *bad* movie, but it was a bit long winded.

Really cool movie but I wouldn't say it like Defiance beyond the fact that aliens settle on earth.

Ya, thats why I said reading the story. The basis for each are similar.

You rarely see or read anything about giant aliens settling on earth and species trying to co-exist.

I thought they were taking over but not forceful just kind of like we are and we are leaving so stay out of our way. I did watch some time ago and late at night.

Ya, they are semi-hostile. But the premis of the 2 are the same. Giant aliens, coming to earth to colonize.


Think of it like saying Farcry 3 and Apocalypse Now, or Lord of The Rings and Skyrim, A Boy and His Dog and Fallout.
