Having to make interesting choices in games are a part of what make them great. Part of me worries that allowing additional storage will remove the need to make those choices. (I'm not big on explosives, and I only have so much inventory space... Do I keep the detonator or the rocket launcher? Which fits my playstyle more? Which am I more likely to enjoy using?)
At the same time, spending 20 minutes organizing your inventory/making decisions isn't fun.

I'm kind of on the fence with this one, but I lean more "yes" than "no."

Good call. But if you were out running around and your inventory was full, you'd still have to make that choice. Your personal room is somewhere you could visit before you set off on some missions and drop gear you know you don't need right this minute, but might later.

I definitely understand the value of it, but how many choices will I really need to make if I have somewhere to store a lot of what I'm not using? Right now I have almost 60 inventory slots. If I don't double up using items in any of my loadouts, I'd have 2 guns, 1 shield, and 1 grenade in each slot of 5 loadouts for a total of 20 weapons. That still leaves me with 40 open inventory places. Now let's assume I carry a backup weapon for every gun in every loadout... That's another 10 items, leaving me with 30 open inventory spaces. I don't have to make any decisions until I've picked up my 31st piece of loot within the time/space of a single outing. By having to keep my mods and any weapons I might want to use down the road in my inventory, it's creating the need for choice.

I'd be 100% on board for personal storage if our "carry around" inventory was reduced.

I think personal spaces would be a very nice edition. Especially for item storage. I have 115 item slots, which should be MORE than enough, but I'm a pack rat >_< I just can't get rid of stuff.
