New characters get the red/black suit. Those that got the camo version will get the red/black version eventually. They fixed one side of the issue but have not fixed (or added) the red/black for characters created before the patch.
Supposedly (I have no source, read it somewhere though) the "fix" for pre-existing players is supposed to launch the 31st. I have a feeling it is taking so long because they are debating whether to piss off one group by replacing the Camo flat out, or please them by allowing you a choice between the two (I think they should let us just keep the Camo and get the red/black, but meh, that would piss off yet another group).
After actually seeing the red camo in-game I think I might want to just keep my desert camo. It just looks red rather than red/black.

If you guys would read the dev blog youd know they rolled out the red and black to ppl last night. The new players got it right yes, but the ppl who had the other finally got thr red and black and thier hellbug caps back last night and theyre still rolling out to players today. Check your claim items section for VBI Infiltrator
And they are letting us keep both plus sweet shades and the hellbug cap for ppl who got that switched, all mine came through yesterday evening.....finally
