I was able to get him on my second fight using an incendiary grenade launcher. Not the fastest way to be sure but the fire dot helps make the most out of every hit. Other then that get a respark and sprint around like crazy using pillars to try to block his attacks whenever possible. Mostly used the g launcher cause I'm set up for explosives and thats my goto gun along with mass cannon for anything that is slow enough to hit.

I just beat him myself. I was completely unprepared for him and was ready to do my standard sniping method. Haha that was not ever going to work. Really the best tactic is to keep backing up and strafing with rolls. My weapon of choice was a sticky grenade launcher that finally did him in. The other two rounds I did it on the first. But yeah sticky grenade him for massive damage and detonate them as a method to interrupt him fire spam. Major note, don't detonate them when he's next to you its pretty easy to do when he slips behind you.

Just beat him earlier myself on the first try. Only had to self-revive once on the first phase and that was before I started using my BMG to heal, otherwise I did not go down. BMG is a god-send in this fight, hopping around like a jack-rabbit on 12 cups of triple-shot espresso doesn't hurt either.

My gear: Downpour pulser (Storyline mission reward), Bionet-X Mag-Collider, Flashsurge Pro-22W,Tachyon Regenerator II D, Decoy lvl 5, Self-medicated lvl 3, Thick Skinned lvl 1.

    My strategy:
All phases- stay mobile, heal with a BMG, keep your distance from him
First phase- BMG only, heal when damaged by ranged attacks, attack while fully healed and he's not charging, long circle strafe when he does the blue charge, don't bother grabbing ammo at this point.

Second phase- high ROF SMG to quickly kill the decoys, stay on one side of the room, heal when damaged with BMG, flashbang grenades seemingly insta-kill the decoys that are caught in the blast, hide behind pillar while the decoys show up on the upper ring (Didn't realize that you could kill them), heal from the inevitable knock back, and grab ammo between every wave of decoys.

Third phase- find your favorite pillar, propose to it, marry it, and stay behind it for all of the ranged attacks, jump every time he sets up for an AoE slam just before he sets it off to avoid most/all damage, heal with BMG, spray around his head/neck area with the SMG.

All I can say is this: BMG.

Yes it will take a year and a half to beat him as BMG's aren't the highest damage weapons, but they have a long range, and no ammo. In addition, it allows you to focus less on aiming and hitting him and more on dodging his attacks. I used nothing but a BMG for all 3 rounds. It took me a while to figure out his patterns, but once I did, it was fairly easy. Every one of his major attacks have some kind of signal a second before he performs it. That's when you need to react and run as fast as you can the other way. Sprinting is the simplest way to dodge most all of his attacks with the exception of his blue rush attack in the first stage and his sword throw attack in the second stage. Those take a little more attention and timing to dodge, but hey, what is Cloak for?

Now, as far as EGO Power and Perks.
I used Cloak and any Perks that increased Cloak duration reduced it's recharge time, and increased damage dealt while cloaked. In addition, the cloak instantly recharges your shields when cloaked so if you make a mistake and he hits you, you can cloak and recharge as well as get yourself situated as he cannot see you while cloaked. He will sometimes guess lucky and get you anyway while cloaked, but rarely.

    Hope you finally beat him

So sorry---it is a solo mission. Personally, I'm a grandpa w/ bad hands---my 10 yr. old grandson did it for me--so quick hands and moving around a lot will get it done

Like Dark3nd Av3ng3r, I used a BMG pretty much the whole time. I had shotgun as secondary and I shotgun blasted the wall and floor a few times (I have an uncanny ability to miss Nim with that… I think I just freak out when he's that close to me). I'd take 2 BMGs if I ever had to do another fight like this (I think Dazz mentioned how he kept 2 shotguns in his load-out so if his fingers slipped and changed weapons he'd still be using a shotgun… I shoulda done that with BMGs 'cause I'd find myself trying to heal with my shotgun every time my hand slipped off WASD onto 3QWE).

The fight took me like 45 minutes and I probably spent 85% of the time with my finger mashing the heal-me button on my mouse. I used a grenade maybe 3 times during the clone phase.

All my perks were defensive. I found I could survive **one** of most attacks and most attacks came just far enough apart that I could heal myself before the next one. So I just ran around with my finger on the heal-me button. The 2 things I had the most problem was Phase 1 bright blue melee attack (it could one-shot me) and Phase 3 when he'd attack me **through** pillars. He’d be inside the pillar with just his head, a leg, and his arm slicing his chargeblade through me and the BMG didn’t seem to hurt him while he was inside there.

    Defensive stuff I used:
Shield- Respark Regenerator III (25% regen)
Perk- Thick Skinned (half-damage on shield break)
    Perk- Fortitude (increase health)
Perk- Cellular Armor (take less damage)
Perk- Regeneration (constant bonus health regeneration)
Perk- Self-Medicated (increase recharge rate of self-revive)

I need to update my guide some. I ran Nim night-before-last on my 3rd toon and did miserably with the shotguns. Apparently they've been nerfed so bad that they don't do nearly enough damage to use them exclusively. I wound up having to equip an AR during my extract so I could put some damage on him. Two other things that I never saw before on my previous runs: one of the clones jumped from the ledge behind me (wtf?) and the decoys were rezzing right on top of me instead of the opposite side of the room during the 2nd half of phase 2, no matter which side of the room I was in.

It definitely seemed harder than it was before.

i dunno. fight was difficult only in that it was overlong and he was overpowered. I had my trusty saw which was the only weapon I used on him.
1st stage was alot of rolling, alot of it. 2nd and 3rd were just breaking los, which was easy enough. that 1st stage charge was the roughest of it all.
still, it was an easier fight than jackleg. really, hit only the tank on the back of a mob so it can burst.... yeah..

    Tuff one

I used 2 spanners... Also a 3 sec recharge shield is necessary...
Learn to jump when he ground attacks. Got through in 3 attempts.
