Replaying the story...

Got some questions bout that. I noticed the icon appear after beating final boss. Is there ay real benefits to replaying like getting better quest rewards, more exp, faster way to lv EGO, ect? I'm thinking bout trying it but don't know if i'd loose anything like equiptment or money. Plus I'm not keen on the fact of facing Nim again lol. Once was rough enough lol. Thnx to all who reply.

Pretty sure its literally just replaying the story for fun, or to do anything you may have missed.

You don't lose items, but (at least last I checked) you do lose access to any side missions you haven't completed, until you unlock them again by proceeding through the story. In other words, if some side missions were unlocked when you completed the second-to-last mission, you'd have to complete the second-to-last mission again to regain access to them.

If you completed all side missions, this is moot, since they never come back.

Another thing to note is that the story missions are not just unlocked to pick and choose from. You have to do them all in order, and you will have to go all the way through if you want to reset it again.
