Right now I don't feel that dying is something that I need to avoid. There does not seem to be a solid penalty for dying in this game. I lose 180 scrip and get re-spawned...
Considering that I can sell items in my inventory for 100-2000 scrip on average, I really think that the cost of dying should be a bit higher. It could work on a percentage system so that dying causes you to lose a certain percentage of the scrip the you have on your character. That way if you are broke, you don't go into debt when you die but if you are rich, you can lose a good chunk of change. i think 15-20% would be a good percentage.
Also I would possibly like to see set spawn points that act as a higher penalty for people who die. When you die in an arkfall you should not spawn directly outside of the arkfall but rather at the nearest base camp/settlement. This one is just an idea as it may be a little more frustrating but it gives more incentive to stay alive...
