    Death Penalties

    Right now I don't feel that dying is something that I need to avoid. There does not seem to be a solid penalty for dying in this game. I lose 180 scrip and get re-spawned...

    Considering that I can sell items in my inventory for 100-2000 scrip on average, I really think that the cost of dying should be a bit higher. It could work on a percentage system so that dying causes you to lose a certain percentage of the scrip the you have on your character. That way if you are broke, you don't go into debt when you die but if you are rich, you can lose a good chunk of change. i think 15-20% would be a good percentage.

    Also I would possibly like to see set spawn points that act as a higher penalty for people who die. When you die in an arkfall you should not spawn directly outside of the arkfall but rather at the nearest base camp/settlement. This one is just an idea as it may be a little more frustrating but it gives more incentive to stay alive...

    Mhhhh the money thing I kinda agree with but not so much the arkfall deaths and being spawned in town. They can end pretty fast so you would be missing out on alot for just a simple death. Now if they give more credit to people who like to heal it would give people more of a reason to have a good healer in there group. Then it wouldnt be such a bad idea.

    Both those suggestions sound like a pain in the azz to me. I play this game casually, and like that I can just mess about without any real penalty. If they implemented those changes, I would probably just stop playing. Trion would then lose out on any income potential I may represent in the future.

    Considering I lost over 5,000 scrip to nim I'm going to say no on losing more money on death.

    Instead how about having your vehicle for the next hour or 2 run at half health or half speed. Or decreased income gains for a certain amount of time. I don't care for increasing penalites. But what I just listed seems to be a better penalty then playing without a wallet. Maybe you like playing without cash, but I don't like it. if they were to implement that then they would have to add in a failsafe system like the seventh saga to make me happy. In that game when you died the monsters took half your money. But if you were intelligent enough you bought gems that they wouldnt touch and you could resell the gems for the same amount you bought them for, not less.

    I agree with you but i also like my money always going up and never going down lol. The cost for respawn should be higher, maybe a grand. We do need an incentive to stay alive.
