why have points at the end of a pvp match?

it is all ******** pointlessness. take this for an example. i get 911 point in a match but since only 4 were 100 on one kill my weekly only went up by 4 and not 9. so unless you are going to make the weekly a total point needed and not a point per kill needed it is pointless to even have points.

The points are there just like in any other pvp game, they have points for things like assists, revenge, rescue, and other crap that doesn't matter. The weekly say get 100 KILLS, nothing about points.

This is a very common method for scoring in shooters.

Not trying to sound mean but... Have you ever actually played a shooter game before?? In case you never noticed there is stat tracking on all of them. So what if the points do not count towards the 100 kill weekly?? Just because you are given the stat does not mean it has anything to do with the weekly.

Point scores are for when you play more as a team player and not for highest k/d. It lets people feel like they still did something and show it to others that hey even though that person only got 2 kills they got a ton of assists and healed lots of people also which then hopefully ended up helping the team win.

i may say need 100 kills but unless you get 100 points per kill then it does not count. so you can have the one daily to kill 20 people and get the 20 kills. if the system says you only earned 99 and below per kill then the weekly one does not see that as a kill.
so it is not get 100 kills it is get 100 100+ point kills.
this is why the points are pointless. you can end up with the top score in points for the match, but if you did not get 100 points per kills it will not count them.
