Meh, being a new game and given the size and genre on a console...im not too stressed about it. I do agree with the twitter/server status comment however

Nice, they put it out on Twitter only? What about those of us that don't like twitter, hell I have a hard time posting things on FB. I only put up things that I feel are worth it, don't want to know about someone who just sneezed. You'd think they'd take the minute or two to post the information here. Not to mention real time server status information.
