I have the same issue with Thinning The Herd on the PC version of Defiance.

I have the same problem as well. I noticed that the supposed contract for Paradise Territories carries the same name as the first goal for Episode 3. Oops. Yeah, it would be nice to get this fixed before time runs out on this one. Also the weekly mission for Paradise Territories is stuck with 0 minutes left on it and is the same as last week - complete Explosions 101 co-op. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

I got this reply after speaking to a GM via live chat...

Thank you for contacting us regarding Defiance.

I apologize for any confusion this issue has caused. The contract 'Svushinnira: Thinning the Herd' in Paradise Territory will not be available until the Most Wanted contest (http://www.defiance.com/en/most-wanted/) has been completed. This means that the 'Episode: Svushinnira' pursuit 'Unconventional Methods' cannot be completed until the week after the Most Wanted contest has concluded. The Most Wanted contract in Paradise Territory will continue to remain active until that time.
So I'm guessing we have to wait till the 12th May or later to complete it...

That... makes very little sense. You know, purposely implementing a goal that you cannot actually complete.
