Weapon Not Leveling ?

My weapons are not leveling and i am not on max skill level and my weapon is new so its exp is not even close to cap...this is an URGENT problem

Ok guys 2 things. As far as I know, your character's weapon skills only seem to increase while you are leveling a weapon ( ie. the xp bar on the weapon itself is not maxed out ) Also, you only earn weapon xp for shooting things that you get ego xp for killing. So shooting things like hellbug pheramone emitters will not level your gun. Unfortunately creatures generated for arkfalls also do not give you any xp. You get ego xp for completing the arkfall but not for each kill so arkfalls are pretty useless for leveling your weapon skills up.
So to level up your weapon skills:
1 don't use maxed out weapons. And
2 don't bother trying to level them at arkfalls.

Also on a side note, if the arkfall is a hellbug crystal destruction type, please leave your cars BMGs and explosives at home. We need to shoot the weak spots the skiterlings make in the crystal and those weapon types keep killing the skiterlings.

You can level them at minor arkfalls, just not major ones.

Thanks guys! I knew I wasn't getting weapon xp at Arkfaklls but I didn't know why. I also didn't know that you get xp at minor Arkfalls.

Just certain minor arkfalls...At least in my experience. If you aren't gettin XP from killing enemies during the minor arkfall then you are also not getting Weapon XP. I don't think any Hellbug Arkfalls (Major or Minor) give weapon XP.

ya this bug needs to be fixed its making it almost impossible to max out the weapon skills i just logged off the game cause its refusing to let me level up my weapon skills this needs to be fixed asap
